  • Members-at-Large: Miguel Díaz-Barriga, Manuel Galaviz-Ceballos, and Almita Miranda were all elected to three-year terms in the Spring 2022 elections and will serve from November 2022-November 2025.

  1. Treasury/Secretary UPDATES 
  • Our finances are in good standing. 
  • Additionally, due to our fundraising efforts and donations helped prevent a loss in revenue and in fact provided us a modest revenue. We intend on sending one more ask for Giving Tuesday, but I promise that will be the final push! Finally, thank you to everyone who donated, these donations allowed us to more comfortably host a graduate student workshop on grant writing!
  • Lastly, our membership from 2023 to 2024 dropped 12%. The area that was most impacted was our student membership, whereas every other category is relatively unchanged. We anticipate this drop is a result of low attendance for the AAA’s. As a board we are exploring ways to increase ALLA engagement beyond just the conference space.
